Open Your Eyes Festival
On May 11 and 12, 2007, an International Animal Rights Film Festival Open Your Eyes! took place in Aero cinema, Prague. More than 300 visitors have seen 6 documentary films involving topics such as animal rights, animal welfare and the human - animal relationship as a whole. The documentaries were rated by a jury, which included some of the significant Czech artists, writers as well as animal rights activists. The Best Documentary Award is going to be sent to the makers of The Witness. Congratulations! Discussions and info stalls of several Czech animal rights organizations and groups were also a part of the cultural program of the festival, as well as La Aficion's (Spanish rhythms) Friday concert.
